I'M BACKKKK!!!!!!!!
Y'all missed me. I don't even have to ask.
Anywhoo, my vacation was absolutely awesome! I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton (*squeal*!) and got to go to Disney World, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and probably best of all, I got to go to Animal Kingdom. I loved Animal Kingdom and saw two animals I never thought I'd see: an okapi and a tapir. I saw a lion's back too, which was cool, except he was just sleeping, and his lionesses weren't around. So I only got to see one lion back and it was slightly boring, but I did see a lion! I got like an hour of film of the different animals in Animal Kingdom, and a lot of two tigers.
One of the funniest things by far that I heard on the vacation was near the gorilla exhibit. A black man and woman were near the gorilla exhibit and the woman suddenly is like, "There's one right there! You missed it!" And the man was like, "It's alright. I see enough big black butts at home." And you know he was sleeping on the couch that night.
The best thing that happened on the vacation has a super awesome result: We (me and my parents) went into a store called 'The Art of Disney' and we started poking around. I found a picture of Simba and Mufasa during the "We'll always be pals, right?" moment and decided to buy it. I walked around the store and my parents brought over a picture of Simba. It was only drawn in pencil and you could see the red guide lines underneath it. Turns out it was drawn by an original animator of The Lion King. My parents brought me to a bin of pictures of characters from like at least twenty different Disney movies, all drawn by original animators from the movies. So I poked around the store a bit more after rifling through them and putting the Simba picture back. I couldn't resist going back to the bin but when I looked through the TLK stuff the Simba picture was gone. I was kinda unhappy because I was gonna see if I could get some more money from my parents, but it was gone, so I just walked away towards the counter where my parents were paying for the stuff we were buying, wishing hopelessly that they were secretly buying the Simba picture as a birthday present to me (which is selfish, but I wanted it). So we go out to the car and my parents put the bag of stuff we had bought in the back with me. My mom gets her camera out and turns around towards me, and I'm like, 'Wha?' and she's like, "Get out your picture." And I'm like, 'Hookay... Whatever you say mommasita..." So I pulled out everything in the bag and was like, "Now what?" My mom was like, "Keep looking!" So I looked back in the bag and saw a piece of cardboard. And on the cardboard was a piece of paper with Simba on it in pencil with red guide lines and an original artist's signature!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was like, "HOOO-HEMMMM-GEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!" and freaked out. Needless to say, it was an awesome picture. *huggles parents*
I saw Wall-E on vacation too. It was really cute, even if it was CG (which I still grudge for taking over Disney).
Last night I watched The Golden Compass and I have a daemon named Zyrxy. He's pretty awesome, and he's a lion. I'll try to draw a picture of him sometime so you all can get an idea of what he looks like.

I envy you beyond all reason. I WANNA SKETCHY SIGHED SIMBA PIC DAMN IT.
lol I also saw WALL-E yesterday, it was sooo cute! I liked Moe best.
I saw The Golden Compass too, but didn't really pay much attention to it cause my cousin wouldn't shut the hell up. I got the main concept of the movie though, and it's a really cool idea--having your souls live /outisde/ your body in the form of an animal daemon.. thing... would be the single greatest thing ever.
What do you mean you have your own daemon, btw? Did you take that online quiz thing at [link] ? I did a few times and got a bunch of results--black cat, lynx, this cute monkey thing, a lion, an ermine, a fox, and a crow. And they all had the same characteristics: solitary, inquisitive, a leader, spontaneous and modest. I think I'd either be a lynx, fox, or ermine... HHMMMM brain-rackerrr. It'd be a sick roleplay topic though, people walking around with talking animal soul things at their sides, neh?
I'mma scan it and try out positioning in photoshop. Maybe try and have a pic of Aduor holding it up and acting all excited. Maybe even photoshop meh new hat in.
MOE WAS DA BOMB SHIZZLE. I wish I could quote him, but it'd look weird in text...
I took that quiz thingy, then I went to a site called The Daemon Page and shuffled through it. I looked at the analysis of a lion and it kinda does fit me, give or take one or two things. But the quiz on the GC site says that I'm 'spontaneous, modest, humble, solitary, and inquisitive'. Which I guess is a bit accurate, now that I think of it.
I forced my sister to take the quiz and she's got a chimp daemon, even though she hates everything about the wild. There are no stores in the wild lol.

...I'll just go with Luke. Sexy.
My sister took the quiz because she's nosey and was a Terrier dog, and very happy about it cause she loves them doggies.
GTG MUST DRAW LUKE TEH SERVAL NOW PLZKTHNXBAI.
It's cool, because when I learned about Xerxes from ancient Persia I loved the name. The new spelling and dropping the 's' was suggested to me and I just adored it.
Lol, that's good for her then.
WELKZKAYBAI.
